Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications based on project requirements.
  • Write clean, organized, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into functional solutions.
  • Develop new features and improve existing functionality.
  • Design and implement application components and workflows.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services.
  • Work with databases and manage application data.
  • Test applications to identify and resolve bugs and technical issues.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software problems.
  • Perform code reviews and follow development best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Maintain technical documentation and development records.
  • Use version control systems such as Git.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other developers.
  • Work with project managers to understand requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Stay updated with programming languages, frameworks, tools, and software development practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of programming fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as PHP, JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
  • Understanding of APIs and web services.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of software development life cycles.
  • Knowledge of Git and version control.

Required Qualification

  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous software development experience or personal development projects is an advantage.
  • Understanding of programming fundamentals and software development concepts.
  • Ability to demonstrate coding knowledge through a portfolio, GitHub projects, technical assessment, or previous work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site development team.
